Recalled_
A downloadable game for Windows and Linux
Recalled is a FNAF-inspired horror game made for the 30 day FNAF Fan Game Jam. You are sent to an abandoned manufacturing / research facility site after the former workers rebelled, in order to retrieve some old data. Unbeknownst to you, the old workers still lurk the stale halls, and they are not welcoming visitors.
Amist fending off the employees you must download the old data to complete the night. No "end of shift" via time, you may only return to your familiy once this task is complete.

hey! i actually love this game and how unique it feels, a couple criticisms before i post my video tmr
- the controls are very hard to comprehend (smol brain on my part) if you made it so that like, s would both pull you out of the camera and bring you under the table, and w could stand you up from the table AND bring you up to the computer, it would streamline the gameplay SOOO much. All in all it was a lot to wrap my head around without labels on the switches and matching cameras (Even just 1-9 or something) but the creatures weren't too overwhelming so it gave me space to breathe and learn them well enough to survive
- also the download takes forever, which is cool, but once you get the mechanics down it becomes almost slow and too predictable in a sense, which is good! when youre trying to survive a night and move on to the following night, the point is to get to that stage so you can move on, but i got everything down after dying a few times and got it figured out at like 15% download, i then had to wait like 10 minutes which felt like it added no tension or escalation. even throwing an aditional animatronic at like 60% download or something with a new mechanic, maybe you have to stare him down if he shows up, or move to his camera and flash to reset his jumpscare timer (just an example). Just very slow paced from a content perspective.
- and finally, the continue button doesn't work, every time i wanna play i have to skim over the story and instructions first before getting into the night
I wanted to give you this feedback because i genuinely think this is one of the more unique fnaf based games ive played, at least mechanic and story wise :D keep working away! Love the game and the art style <3
Video getting posted to https://www.youtube.com/@SnowyBlizzard probably like tomorrow when i finish working on it
Thank you <3 The game is still in active development, and its current state is the result after only after the 1 month FNAF game jam. A lot of stuff will still be reworked, including for instance a better tutorial that's not text vomit, and we have plans for a fourth animatronic that comes in later at night to mess with download progress that forces you to use all the cams. Thank you so much for checking out the game, and thank you for the feedback!! It'll be taken into consideration for future updates
Awesome sauce!! Again I really did enjoy the concept, you got a banger on your hands
a really cool game! what engine/tool was used to develop it?
Thank you! It was made in the Godot engine
Really sick game!
Thanks!
Great game!
Since you said you wanted feedback, here's 2 things I'd love to see in further updates:
1. Some sort of small link between the camera placements and camera buttons to make the system feel a little more intuitive. (For example, having corresponding numbers next to the cameras and buttons, or having a map of the facility next to the buttons)
2. Some critical reason to use the cameras during gameplay. (For example - maybe you can't see the Worker in the hallway with the light switch off, and if you turn the light on, he instakills you, so you have to keep track of him in the cameras to not die)
But other than that, no comments! ^^
these are all really valid feedback!! i was saying pretty much the same thing, along with adding a mechanic later on in the download to make it feel more complex once you figure out the first few, kinda like what you said
